inhabitants of the oldest cultures of America, whose main activity
is fishing and hunting are also engaged in weaving of wool carpets
and dried to birds of the lake.

Departure at 6:45a.m. Arrival at 5:20p.m.
The advantage of this tour is the optimization of your time visiting
the island. With this tour we bring you to the non-touristy side of
the island and let you enjoy encounters with local families,
examination of textile designs of Taquile, interpretation of the
traditional clothing and way of life of people.
6:45a.m.: Pick-up from your hotel in downtown Puno.
7:00a.m. : The boat is ready to depart in the direction of the reed
islands of UROS (floating' islands).
7:30a.m. : Visit of Uros floating island.
11:30a.m. : We arrive at the southern dock of Taquile Island. We
start a 30 minute hike (difficulty level: easy to moderate) towards
the exhibition point.
11:50a.m. : During 30 minutes we enjoy encounters with local
families, examination of textile designs of Taquile, interpretation
of the traditional clothing and the way of life of people from
Taquile. After the exhibition, we continue our hike to the
restaurant (10 minutes hike).
12:30p.m. : We have lunch in a local house (upon reservation).
2.30p.m. : Departure from main dock of Taquile Island.

to the temple ceremonial "Pachatata" enjoy a beautiful view of Lake
Titicaca and the surrounding area, likewise a spectacular view of

through which, your passengers will enjoy and share the true customs
and traditions of this beautiful island.

12.30 hrs. 20 minute walk to the town square, free time.
